Dancin’ when the stars go blue
Dancin’ when the evening fell
Dancin’ in your wooden shoes
In a wedding gown

I love those lyrics! The song is kind of variable. It’s a little bit hard to interpret the entire thing. It jumps around from scene to scene. After a while it’s asking, “Where do you go when your lonely?” So what is the song about?  Is it about a happy wedding day, in her wedding gown? Or is it about what this guy wants, but he doesn’t have it, because he’s asking her why she is lonely. Or is it describing lonely? To me, the verse above sounds like they are in the middle of some field, stars above, and they are just dancing and having fun. Also, where are they? Are they in Utah? Or are they somewhere awesome like Italy or Hawaii? It sounds romantic and sweet, so I don’t really understand where the lonely part really comes in.  Either way, I still like the song. Tim McGraw has a great voice, and its’ a great song to sing along to.  So, if you are planning on getting married anytime soon, this may or may not be an awesome wedding song for you.
