Today I woke up with one thought in my mind, “NOOOOOOOO!”. My mind wrestled with my body for a good 20 min, trying to get me out of bed. I finally stumbled out of bed. My roommate and I looked at each other. It was clear that neither of us were looking forward to this day. Three hours of sleep is never a good sign anyways. Add on top of that the pressure of finals and moving out. It is a deadly combo.

Today was THE day. I took my final last night and today was focused on doing whatever it took to get the house to sparkle, and get out by noon. This did not happen in the ideal way. As a college students, of course we had to procrastinate until the last second possible. That meant doing everything this morning.  It was like a fast forward movie. There was a lot of frantic scrubbing as I saw a painting company walk past. They were touching up the apartments. They gave me a weird look as I was on my hands and knees scrubbing my floor.  The painting company did not just walk by once. They walked past multiple times and every time we awkwardly made eye contact, it got more awkward. I was starting to wish I was somewhere cool like San Fransisco, and not scrubbing my floor.

Well after a LOT of scrubbing, vacuuming, sweeping, etc. I am proud to say that it is past noon and my house is CLEAN! As for the painting company, well my pride didn’t get away undamaged, but that’s okay! It is OVER! I can finally relax this weekend!!!!
